(Head's up: We're NOT at the Harraseeket! this year!!)
Please join MACDL in Freeport on June 12th for our annual conference--this year, once again, it's a one-day only event!
The program offers 7.00 excellent total CLE credits (pending approval by both the Board of Bar Overseers and the Maine Commission on Public Defense Services for credit, not payment), including one live Ethics credit.
Registration covers the 7.00 CLE credits, breakfast, lunch, snacks . . . and a post-CLE evening event at Maine Beer Company, that includes beer (shocking!) and pizza and more (including non-alcoholic options).
It's going to be a fun and educational day, for sure!

David Yanetti, an exceptional Massachusetts defender who successfully represented Karen Read last year, will be joining us.
All the way from Oregon by way of Kentucky, Justin Rosas will be teaching us about how to attack cop credibility when they use AI to write reports, etc.
Our own fantastic Tim Zerillo will be presenting on effective storytelling in sentencing advocacy.
Brandon Manzo's team from Manzo Digital Forensics will be focusing on how to use experts in digital discovery effectively.
Working from his significant experience in representing mentally ill clients in very serious cases, the fearsome Andrew Wright will be talking about NGRI/criminal responsibility, how it works, and when it shouldn't.
With the landscape shifting and cracking daily, MCPDS crimmigration resource counsel Shannon McKinnon and law partner Kelsey Lee will update us on the latest developments in this fraught and ever-changing area of the law.
And finally, the awesome Amber Tucker and I will be joining forces to get you all your annual ethics credit.
